It’s a fun time trying to catch bugs with Bug-Bop.  Tap on one of the wily bugs and it’ll fall into the jar. But, with leaves floating around, it’s more difficult than it looks. So, use the wind and your flashlight to make it easier to catch more bugs.

Bug-Bop is easy to learn, quick to play, but challenging to master.

The bugs can be evasive. They can fly fast. And, falling leaves and flowers (you can choose either or both) will get in the way. However, there are ways for you to make it easier. You can use the wind to blow away all leaves and flowers. And, you can use a flashlight to temporarily slow down the bugs and make them gather close.

There are three different places to play in Bug-Bop:

Play The Challenge – Catch as many bugs as possible without making a mistake.  You’ll need skill here. One miss ends the game.  Your best score is recorded on your device and in the Game Center (if you’re signed into Game Center). When you first install Bug-Bop, you get 10 wind powers and 10 flashlight powers to use in The Challenge.

Earn Powers – Here, you can play to earn more powers for use in The Challenge. Catch 50 bugs and you’re rewarded with one power of your choice, wind or flashlight.

Playground – Here, you can enjoy endless fun & practice with unlimited wind & flashlight powers. This is a great place to build up your speed and accuracy. And, it’s the best place to develop and test different strategies for using the wind and the flashlight. Playing in the the Playground will help you to master Bug-Bop. (Hint: Tap on the swarms in the background to call more bugs onto the Playground).

And, for more fun, try tapping on the jar. It scares the bugs and sometimes makes them a little easier to catch.

Finally, if you run out of wind or flashlight powers for The Challenge and you don’t want to spend time earning more, you can always purchase some.
